I’m not afraid to say that I’ve studied the Bible for many years.  I’m by far not a Bible scholar, nor do I have Book, Chapter and Verse memorized for every conversation.  I guess the computer has made me lazy.  But I began to see the Bible as the “What” and “Why” but not the “How”.

The young kid Elihu in Job 37:5 “God thunders with His voice wondrously, Doing great things which we cannot comprehend. (I cheated, I started a text sheet with my most commonly used Bible verses).  But if you look at Psychic Mediums, they are not afraid to do a blessing or say a prayer before trying to connect with the ethereal realm.  They ARE aware that they can attract demonic entities and become possessed.  The Catholic church teaches demonic possessions and the paranormal.  In fact, the Catholic church has great respect for demons and the paranormal.

TV shows today about UFOs and Psychic Mediums are very popular.  It’s my belief that these practices of Mediums are somewhat legit.  I know the FBI and CIA can teach courses that can teach someone to be a fake Psychic, “convincingly” but as the Bible says, their will be prophets.  I just don’t think that prophets are here for us to “Traffic” in.  Leviticus 19:31 That’s an unusual admonishment: “Don’t dabble in the occult or traffic with mediums; you’ll pollute your souls. I am God, your God“.  Dabble means to experiment or “Test the water”.  Traffic with Mediums means to travel with or perhaps more profound, be “guided” by mediums.  God is saying (I’m really paraphrasing) “Don’t run you life based on mediums.  I am your God.  Trust in Me”.

Psychic Mediums, Spirits, Ghosts, Demons, Angels, Spirit Guides all exist.  But it’s important to understand that we’re here to learn a lesson.  We’re ourselves are spirits in Human Bodies.  Someday we’ll shed these bodies and truth by faith will become truth fulfilled.  With that in mind, next time we’ll talk about manifestation.
